In my last movie post of 2016, I am looking forwards to seeing Martin Scorsese latest film Silence. The plot revolves around 2 Jesuit priests played by Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver who go on a mission to travel from Portugal to Japan to find a missing mentor played Liam Neeson. This has a been a 25 year passion project for the director to bring this to the big screen and originally presented to the studio clocking in over 4 hours. It has been edited down to over 2 1/2 hours or so now and recently opened in NY and LA. The trailer looks great and if you get a chance step out and see it looks very worthwhile.
