One place I have always wanted to visit was the The Point on Saranac Lake in the Adirondacks. This great old camp styled in the version that the Vanderbilts, Astor and Rockefellers enjoyed is trip back in time. Check out the wooden boats that look like moving furniture on the water. The train trip from NY Penn Station to this area in the fall is considered to be one of the best foilage sightings in the Northeast. The below video will say it all.
